The Diamondback Club provides the opportunity for you to extend your involvement in your daughter’s activities beyond the high school years. This can enhance your daughter’s Alpha Delta Pi experience and can give you the opportunity to experience it with her! The Diamondbacks lend both physical and monetary support to the chapter through workdays, social events, fundraising activities and minimal dues. In addition to involving you with your daughter’s Greek experience, an added personal benefit is that you have the opportunity to make friendships with other ADPi parents.
Purposes of Alpha Delta Pi Diamondback Club
1. To promote the principles of ADPi friendship among
ADPi parents.
2. To provide information about the chapter to all
parents.
3. To provide moral and material support to the chapter.
4. To promote interaction between parents and their
daughters.
5. To broaden parents’ understanding of ADPi and the
campus Greek system.
6. To share parents’ professional resources and talents
with the chapter.
7. To inform parents of sorority activities and
expectations.
Diamondback Club activities are directed towards the benefit of active chapter members.
Some activities include:
• Provide meals to chapter members during special events
• Purchase seasonal decorations for the holidays
• Deliver goodie bags for exam week
• Host a silent auction fund-raiser during Parents’ Weekend, Mom’s Day, Dad’s Day, etc.
• Give a farewell party and/or gift for graduating seniors
• Help with the planning of a mother/daughter event or father/daughter event
• Purchase furniture/equipment for chapter housing facility (i.e. chairs, sofas, appliances)
• Provide favors for chapter events and finals week
